Amigurumi Giraffe

Another custom order. A super cute giraffe! One of my favorite amigurumi I've made so far. I changed the pattern a little to get a more "giraffe" looking result, and also didn't quite understand what they were saying when making the mane, so I made up my own for that as well. I will include these changes after the pictures.

Pattern: http://www.coatsandclark.com/NR/rdonlyres/477D4298-BF4E-4D61-8F2E-E7440F5967FD/101048/WR17291.pdf

Neck: After the decrease to the bottom of the head, sc 3 rows instead of 1.

Mane: Ch 15. Sl st. in 2nd ch from hook, [ch 3, slip st in next ch] 12 times. sl st in next ch. Fasten off. Sew to the center back of the head and body.

Amigurumi Horse - Mito!

This is an amigurumi horse a friend requested me to make look like her horse. I was looking for a medium sized horse pattern, and could only find a very small one or a very large one. So along with pictures of this horse, I will post a link to where you can buy the pattern on etsy. I think the horse turned out well and I hope you will like the pattern!

February Lady Sweater

This is one of those things I made a while ago but just got around to getting pictures of. It is a really pretty lace pattern, but its not too flattering on.. but still pretty!

Here is a link to the pattern:

http://www.flintknits.com/blog/?p=151

You have to download it as a pdf, so this is really a link to where you can download it from.

Anyway, here are my pictures:

Camellia Shrug

This is now my new favorite. I just keep topping myself! I love this shrug! Super comfortable, soft, and classy! I got the pattern from the Winter-Spring 2011 edition of knitscene. This was a great issue, I want to make everything in it!

You have to love this back:

I'me pretty proud of these arm seams, I haven't made anything so clean before! I found a new method for seaming, I will NEVER go back!

Amigurumi Cat - Fat Cat

This kitty didn't come out as well as I would have liked... This is my second to-order item. As long as the buyer likes it I guess that is all that matters! The only thing I dislike is that it is not obviously a cat, otherwise, I personally think it is very cute! Here is the pattern I used:

http://www.sociallyskilled.com/sps/Free_Patterns/Pages/Fat_Cat.html

The shop I went to did not have cat eyes, nor did it have noses in the right size. I used "animal eyes" instead and sewed on a nose and mouth with black yarn.

Here are my pictures:

The cat is made to sit on a ledge, like this:

Lacy Hat and Mittens and Ruffle Scarf

I made these as a very late present for my mom for Christmas/Her Birthday or it could be a very early mother's day present. With the wedding this year I just didn't have time to finish Christmas presents in time!

So here is the link to the pattern I used for the hat and mittens:

http://www.redheart.com/free-patterns/lacy-leaf-hat-mittens

I used size 8 dpn instead of 9, and got just fine results.

So here are my pictures:

And look at those adorable kitties in the background!!

Ruffle Scarf:

I LOVED making this! So easy and quick! It only takes a couple of hours and the results are great!

Thats it for now!

Amigurumi Elephant

I made this elephant in a very short amount of time, but he ended up being extremely cute! I had yarn left over from the Rayonnat Pullover I made, and I thought this color would make an adorable elephant. I was right :) So here is the link to the pattern:

And here are my pictures!
